This rice milk pudding is a classic, beautiful, and delicious dessert. Fresh village milk gives it a rich creamy texture, while cinnamon and vanilla add a delicate aroma.

Ingredients (for 3–4 servings)

  • 1 liter milk (preferably natural whole milk)
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 3 tbsp sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Dried fruits or walnuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice and add it to the milk.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously.
  3. Once the mixture thickens, add sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Continue cooking until you get a creamy consistency.
  5. Pour into serving glasses and garnish with cinnamon or walnuts.
